Cracked me up!!
As a boy our family always had a Great Dane as a pet. I remember my grandmothers always wore dresses (we're back in the 1950s here folks) and it wasn't unusual for the family Great Dane to sneak up behind them and "cold nose" them when they arrived for a visit.
Guess a kilt would provide the same temptation as a dress.
