Scottish Kilt night - Scottish Pipe Band Championship

Keep bumping it Robertson - we need to know exactly who are all going - where and what time we are meeting etc.
I'll be setting off Friday afternoon and staying overnight in a hotel at Glasgow Airport.
Its easier for me to drive from the hotel direct to Dumbarton and meet you all there.
I do hope there will be a decent turnout of Glasgow area x-markers since the suggestion for a meeting in west central Scotland originally came from members in that area and some of us are travelling a long way.
I've arranged to meet Ann and her friend for dinner back at the hotel at 7pm after which I need to drive home as I'm working at the aviation museum on Sunday, so I won't be joining you guys for an evening pub crawl after the pipe band championships.

Thanks, David, will see you there, should arrive 10:30 ish. Hopefully a few others will join us. It will make a change meeting up in our old haunts in the central belt rather than in our adopted home area here in the borderlands and it will be super to see and hear the bands on Saturday but it would be rather ironic if we ended up being the only x-markers there.

No problem, Robertson, I understand. You must keep Emma on side. No doubt David and I will see you often enough over the summer here in the borderlands, whether in Dumfries, Carlisle or Hawick. I already have 22nd and 28th June in my diary for Dumfries kilt nights. Maybe Arlen and some of the other Glasgow area members will be able to join us at some of the Dumfries meets.
