There is one in Austin, TX I've been wanting to go down to, but my wife is a little hesitant about letting me into a place with fine young women dressed in pleated plaid skirts......oh wait...excuse me they call them mini-kilts, but really after talking to manager by email, they order them from a Catholic School Uniform shop.
Anyways, Did you all have fun?

Still on Plan B, for now. The union turned down the last offer and will be holding a strike vote sometime around May 2nd.

Yes, life is very good! We've never won more than a few dollars playing the slots in the past, so this was quite a surprise. Karen has done quite well also, turning $100 into a little over $200.

Ya never know! On Friday I didn't get any comments about the kilt at all, and only a couple yesterday. Today, however, it seemed like every second person had a question or comment. All comments were positive.
However, the strangest comment came while we were being seated at the Buffet in the Orleans Casino. The Korean lady who was getting our drinks loooked at me and asked..."Cheerleader"?

A few years ago, Rufus, Freelander and myslef were in the chat room (long gone now) and Freelander started talking about the new season of the Sporranos that he had been watching. This was about the same time Freelander sporrans was starting up, so Rufus and I got a huge laugh at David's expense and immediately change dour names to Rufus Sporrano and Colin Sporrano without explaination to the rest of the forum.
To our suprise others were curious and followed suit by adding Sporrano to their names. Rufus, Todd, and others decided to remove the name after a few weeks and hoped that people would leave the Sporrano name for David and Sten Rune with this fledgling business, but the name has stuck for a few members that were around at that time.
Hank was still working on shirts at that time, so he made a limited run of Sporrano shirts.
An inside joke gone array
Great pics Al. I looks like a fun trip.

Thanks for chiming in, Colin! I thought you had been involved but I couldn't recall the whole story.
I actually tried to change my name back but it was too late. Perhaps I should talk to Mike1 and see if I can do it. I wouldn't mind changing it to Mr. Kilt to match the vanity plate on my Durango.
