Perhaps I should go live in an Ashram.
I don't want to start a debate, but some of us need to be connected all the time. I am in a very fast pace business and I intend to deliver excellent customer service to my clients. At the same time, I need to connect with my office when I out on calls. My Blackberry makes me money.
You may not have the needs to connect with your friends/colleagues/families all the time, but some of us do.

Raph,
This is all tongue in cheek. I personally HATE (literraly) all that crap. Some folks "think" they need that level of connectivity. If you do, then go for it. Although don't ask me to pay for your thumb surgery.

Buddy of mine has a RAZR.
His review:
Half the time, the left side of the keypad doesn't work, and dust gets into the slots on the side of the flip-topand sticks to the UNDERSIDE of the screen (between the window and the display)--can't clean it!!
He hates it but can't upgrade till NEXT December ('08)...

I had a Treo 650, loved it literally to death. Replaced it with a MotoQ which lasted about 3 months and went immediately back to the Treo 700WX (Windows Mobile with the extra memory - from verizon wireless).
I'm a HUGE Treo fan.
Dee - since I spend the vast majority of the day out of the office, I really do need to be that connected. In deference to Bradley, the Blackberry is a close runner-up in my book. I used a 7750 for a while and liked it very much, but I really, really like the touch screen on the Treo.

I finally broke down and got a cell last year. Got the extras and 3 moth trial stuff. First two months bill were horrendous couldn't even figure out how to retrieve messages. I cancelled everything except just the phone. I'm much happier now, and have more money for kilts.

The one thing I HATED about the Treo, is the thing you love. (Touchscreen) Go figure eh? Just not my cuppa...
