Hi again.
Here's the finished product. No pockets yet though.
You'll have to forgive the Leatherman on the belt, but I don't go anywhere without my Leatherman !

Took me two evenings (late into the night ones) to sew it up. I did all te sewing myself, but was able to talk my wife into adding the belt loops last night, since I had not gotten them done yet. (Thanks Dear)...

Very nice indeed. That digicamo kinda grows on a fellow.
VERY fast. Did you sew the edges of the pleats or just press them in?

Having just spent 4 straight hours on some 13 oz Douglas tartan, I know the feeling.
My eyes are blurry and my left arm is half asleep from holding the pleats as I stitch.

The edges of the pleats are top stitched both inside and outside pleats. I followed the X-Kilt directions to the absolute best detail that I could, since I had no previous knowledge of kilt making.
I think I mentioned this earlier, but my material had a woven pattern of small squares in it, much like rip-stop nylon might. This really came in handy for getting things square. It was like having graph paper included on my cloth for me.
