I love your photos, Derek. I live in a place with just as much natural beauty, but lacking the wonderful historic pubs and other buildings that you enjoy.

Re .. the pubs.
We always make sure that our walks end up at, or very near, a nice little watering hole. It also a great incentive to finish the trek.

Derek, the photos are magnificent. I can't wait until it's cool enough around here (southeastern US) where the temps have hoverd near 100 F for the last month. I'm ready for some walking myself, and your photos always inspire all of us, not only to hike, but wear the kilt while doing so.
