So far, I've had good luck with them.
They've been prompt to respond to my queries.
I've received a shipping tracking number within a very quick order turnaround time, on my material yardage.
IMHO, if you are interested in something from Frugal Corner, call or email before you order... make sure it is in stock or get an ETA... that seems to be the crucial point.

I just checked their website, and they have their inventory up for viewing! Now that is useful.
Oh, the kilts just arrived, pics to come once I find the cord for my digital camera.

I've ordered another Kilt from them; Mc Donald dress.(everyone deserves a 2nd chance). Am a bit nervous as no response acknowledging my order (Paypal).

Good timing on this post! I received my two Frugal Kilts in the Hunting MacIntosh late yesterday afternoon. I am most pleased! I ordered them quite a while ago and had been waiting patiently, and they are worth the wait. One of them was a custom length for my nephew, and the other is a stock size for me. The main reason we bought them was that Frugal Kilts had my clan tartan at a reasonable price. The set matches the Lochcarron tartan in size, and the colours are somewhat brighter. I'm really pleased with the look. I haven't taken the basting stitches out yet, and will try to post pictures in a couple of weeks when I'm back from a short vacation.

And that's why I'm looking at Frugal Corner.

I don't think there have really been HORROR stories have there? Most complaints (well deserved by the way) have been on slow communication and slow shipping... these are problems but not really horror stories - We have not taken anybodies money to vegas, closed our doors, or ripped anybody off. Nor have we ever received any BAD reviews on our products.
Again those folks that have been complaining have a reason to complain, we are not denying that, but if you take an honest look at the folks here that have done business with us..the VAST majority have had at least good service and some have had outstanding service...
Not naming names but one person that had a right to complain and did-ended up buying another kilt from us after posting negative comments about us...
we don't take these comments personal - most are very honest and as I have said before - bad customer service is bad customer service.. we have from time to time been guilty... we are working on it.
One thing I learned in the Marines - if ya screw up, admit you screwed up and don't try to cover it up - it just makes it worse
