P.S. Not a good idea to use the word "big" in reference to a woman, no matter what age...
I repeat: you look marvelous. No frownie-faces are allowed. Let's just say that we're all impressed you can still fit into your heirloom skirt!
I recently had my hands on the trousers of a suit I bought when I was 18. I'm happy to report that I can wear them, but then I seem to recall needing braces with 'em when I was 18... I think you're ahead of me on points.

"Then" doesn't matter. You're looking fantastic "now!" And happy, too!

A good start
I am glad your mother introduced you to the tartan at a young age. My daughters show little to no interest at the moment. Maybe if I made them tartan skirts, they would have a wonderful story like yours to tell in 10 years?

Maybe so - light the Celtic pride fire! It'll give them something cool to talk about with their friends. It's always good to know where you come from. Plus, plaid (and argyle) are very trendy right now.

That's pretty OK! You look wicked nice! I've got a shirt from when I was young, I can use it for a mitten.
