I'm with Todd. I can watch this movie over and over again. I've worn out the VHS and am working on wearing out the DVD. The book is excellent too.
There have been lots of other good movies mentioned as well. "I Know Where I'm Going" is on my list to see; I've heard of it but never seen it.

I Know Where I'm Going is one of those gems that the amazing writing/directing team of Powell & Pressburger seemed to crank out without cracking a sweat. If you haven't seen it, do.
And if you want to see a brace of lovely Scottish ladies on your screen, check out Powell&Pressberger's The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) which features the attractive Deborah Kerr, while prima ballerina Moira Shearer in The Red Shoes (1948) is another Scottish stunner. Both films are "Off Topic" but well worth seeing. God bless Netflix!

That gets my vote as well. I even have it on DVD so I can watch it over.

Although not entirely Scottish (but then, some of the others mentioned are not, either), I have to vote for the original Highlander. The sequels were awful--don't waste your time. I would prefer to have those two hours of my life back.
Quite a few here I haven't seen--time to expand my list!

Spot on. I just recently requested that our local library purchase it.
It's a unknown gem of a movie, mostly because Sir Winston didn't like it.
