Welcome to XMTS from the heart of Silicon Valley.
There are quite a few "Zonies" on here so keep an eye out for upcoming kilt nights.

Keys,
Welcome from another MacQuarrie descendant. I actually maintain the clan web site at http://www.clanmacquarrie.org. Be sure to check it out.
Also, I don't know if you are close to my size or not, but I currently have a kilt for sale on my specials page in one of the more rare MacQuarrie tartans:

Welcome from the son of a "Preskitt" native currently residing in SW Missouri!
I used to love going to Cottonwood, Jerome, Camp Verde, etc. North Central Arizona was my favourite place in the state! When I worked in the park service, the inside joke was that if you really screwed up, you would be banished to Tuzigoot -- I begged for banishment!
I hope to get back someday.
Cheers, (pint)
Todd

, A warm from chilly Boston, Massachusetts.
1.) If your wife wears slacks or jeans, get her a T-Shirt that reads " I wear the pants in this Family", Then take her to the mall while you are kilted. After the looks of envy from the other women at the mall, she will LOVE having you kilted!
2.) If she is of the dress/skirt type, get her a skirt in the same tartan at the length that she likes to wear her skirt. If possible a necktie for you and a shawl for her in the same tartan, to really complete the outfits. Then take her out on a date. She will be delighted with the number of heads the two of you will turn.
I hope these two suggestions will give you some food for thought. Only you know the temperament of your spouse. A little modification to suit her style will go a long way.
---- Steve

Mr. Newsome,
As a matter of fact, I have had your website as one of my favorites for several years! When I am able to come up with the extra cash, I intend to order one of the clan crest Sgian Dubhs to set my ensemble off. Am also a member of the Yahoo MacQuarrie site. My sister is somewhat of a mover and shaker over there...her name is Cinda.
I must confess, my actual last name is "Marsh", but "McQuerrey" was my mother's maiden name and I rather like the older version "MacQuarrie" and have pretty much adopted it as mine...
