    Tickets- ordered.

Sounds like a good spot to meetup. Really, I'm relying on you guys to suggest stuff because I'm a Tartan Week virgin. LOL I really wouldn't know the 'in's and out's' so to speak.

Found an excellent article on The Kirkin on the Scottish Tartans Museum website: http://www.scottishtartans.org/kirkin.htm

Count me in for all, including the parade.

Now that St. Patrick's Day is past us, time to look to our next gathering again. I would suggest again that we meet about 1:00-1:30 at the SE corner of Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) to watch the parade.

Afterwards, I understand that people will be splitting up, as some of us will be going to Stout's for the after-parade party. So would anybody want to meet for lunch before this?

Sounds like a good plan to me, Galician. I'm up for it. Let's see who else is interested.

For those who'd like to join in lunch first, I propose meeting at the Playwright Restaurant, 202 West 49th Street (between 7th Avenue and Broadway). I would say noon at the latest, to give time to eat and then head over to the parade gathering spot.

I'm planning on going to the Kirkin of the Tartan and brunch, so will probably join you at the viewing site.

Hmmm, that's right! At this point, I'm doubtful that I could make the Kirking service, but the brunch might be an option for gathering. And it's catered by our own illustrious Chef!!

How many of us are planning to be there?

Btw, has anybody gotten their ticket/s for the post-parade party?

All I know for sure is that I'll be at the Tartan Day parade and at Stout afterwards. Don't have my tickets for Stout in the mail yet but I expect them any day now.

It does make sense to get some sort of grub beforehand. Let me think on it.

SE Corner of SIXTH Avenue WHAT Street number ???? To avoid confusion with locations please be sure to include both Street and Avenue intersection info. Remember we have a lot of Tartan week "virgins" and out of towners who might want to meet up with us.
