Um, mojitos? Frabulous? Is that like frickin' sweet brews?
I'll be up for at least one gathering in October!

Well, I ended up at loose ends on the North Side one Saturday afternoon and had to kill a couple a hours and I figgered, "where better?" and ende up sitting at the bar with the Duke's regular Saturday group of locals. Very nice people...very funny. They were making jokes about the influx of fans of a certain North Side ball club that will remain anonymous and drinking mojitos. I was just sippng the ale but my Vin Diesel look-alike new buddy insisted that I had to try a mojito...who am I to argue? I proclaim the mojitos most excellent! An impressive display of versatility in a Scottish themed bar, I must say.

Not a baseball fan anymore, though...

Any updates on a possible date for the gathering? Perhapse I can make it up. October is pretty crowded, so no guarantees.

Can we arrange for both Greg & Iain?
As I recall, the Duke is outside the southern boundary of Wrigleyville so we should be safe from rowdy fans.

Within that time frame, I am so far available the 14th through the 17th.
I will most likely also be available the evening of the 18th, as long as the Northwestern-Purdue game is an afternoon game and does not get moved to prime time because the 'Cats are 7-0 and leading the Big Ten at the time. As much as I'd like that to be the case, it is probably not going to happen.

I just PM'd the Beeman to see if he's still coming. Iain and Beloitpiper's dates overlap. Of course, if Beeman's dates aren't in synch, we might just have to have TWO kilt nights in October. We've made that tremendous sacrifice before.

I wonder if the Duke would mind me bringing some smallpipes?
