Hayya Matt, good to hear from you and thanks for the welcome. My wife and I were just in your area. Research trip to CO, CA. AZ.

Hayya Kiltman, Thanks for the warm welcome. Love your credentials, great work. Being recently retired I am getting more involved with my Scottish background. I have been doing genealogy for 25 years. Made the trip to Killin and Inverness this past June. Found many of my Clan's old homesteads. Back to 1500's. 5 mile hike into the Highlands to find one of the first crofts. Took some dandy pictures. Spoke with the MacNab Clan Chief while there. Turns out a clan chief at that time gave his baby son to my kin to raise. He was a minister in Killin and Kenmore. My great uncle was a master Piper and his wife was a master dance teacher in Ontario. Drove to Tucson in Oct. and spoke with the Clan Chief MacBean.
Take care David McVean dwmcvean@q.com
