Here, as promised, are the photos of the Stillwater Cargo Sporran with the broken belt loop. As you can see the damage is not a simple one to repair as the material comprising the belt loop has torn away from the stitching.





This is what I did to make the sporran usable again.



Not the prettiest of repairs, but my excuse is that I do not have any leather working tools on the ship at the moment, so I used sail-making tools and thread instead. Still, whatever it looks like, I have my cargo sporran back again.
