I have been by this house many times and have heard it calling to me for a restoration project. It would make a great weekend home as it's only about two hours from me. A nice little place to get away for a day or two. I have a love of history and old homes so I understand what others are saying. It does call out for someone.
Ended up not being a wrong turn. It is great to find these photo gems on an oops! I could only hope to find something like that here in Washington. They just tear down and start over here. Of course it is probabley necessary, due to the wet climate. You know we all have gills.

I've had lunch in a very similar house. I used to spend a week in November and another in January chasing birds around Kansas. On one of the properties was a similar house, I always stopped by and ate a bag lunch while resting the dogs. It gave me great peace and sense of history to hole up there and reflect for an hour. Thanks for the memory.
