Gents, It was a pleasure to meet you all Saturday evening! I am sorry that the house band was so loud, and killed the conversation. If you have pictures please put them up! I have a few, and will be placing them up here and in the picture forum hopefully within the next day or two!

It was highly mentioned that we should meet again for the Gatlinburg games. I concur. What about in the meantime? Would you all be agreeable to gather again in about six weeks or so? That would be about halfway from here until the games. Or if you would like, we could meet even more often, say, once a month! Post here or PM and we'll converse on the matter.

Yes, this pub has been open only perhaps a year or so. Quite the decent place to grab some grub and a pint. You can check out their website at www.thecrownandgoose.com

It was a great night, and good to meet you guys. I am looking forward to the next one. I can make any Saturday in March except the second, though I would prefer the 3rd or 4th Saturday as my step son (also a kilty) will be visiting with his wife.

Are any of you kilted gentlemen from Tennessee of Lamont descent? If so I would like to hear from you. CLSNA wants to know who you are and where you are located.

We will be at the Blairsville, GA Highland Games in June 2009 and look forward to meeting any and all of you gentlemen (even if you aren't Lamonts) at the games. We extend the hospitality of the Lamont tent to you.

When my surname, Clements, is fed into tartan or Clan finding computers they say I'm Lamont but I don't know of any Scottish ancesters, though I must admit I haven't done any searches.

It looks like this Saturday is going to be the best date for us to meet this month. I realize this is short notice, but the other three Saturdays we will have members unavailable. Should we keep it at the Crown and Goose, or meet at another place called Irish Times? Thanks!
