East TN Kilt Night
Hello all,
We would like to get together a kilt night for sometime here in January. Of course our friends from KY, NC, GA, the rest of Tennessee and whoever else wants to show up are also invited. The setting should be the fabulous Crown and Goose Pub in downtown Knoxville (www.thecrownandgoose.com). It seems to those I have spoken to already that the last two Saturdays of the month would work equally well. Anyone have a preference for 24th or the 31st? The results of the time choice will be placed on www.kiltnight.net A good time shall be had by all and we hope to see you there!

TNKiltedWolf,
I just got approval from the wife. We can definitely come up the 31st. Let's make this thing happen!

but wait, there's more!
Yes gents there is an official tennessee volunteers tartan, as fshguy just put up, but for something a little less harsh on the eyes here's the tennessee state tartan.
Yes, that works for me, let us commence on the 31st! Come one come all!

I hope you all are able to have a good turnout. That is the same night as our Burns' Dinner.
As for the Tennessee tartans. I hope to one day have a kilt in both. I am a graduate of UTK. I think the UT tatan would look good in muted colors. Something to tone down the orange. If that's possible.
May I sugggest another night in May to go along with the Gatlinburg games. I'm planning on being there to host a tent. Any thoughts?

We're sorry you won't make it HeathBar, perhaps next time! Hope you have a great time at the Burns Supper. A night in May would be great, especially if it coincides with the Gatlinburg Games. There's a wonderful little pub up there called the Fox and Parrot that would be worth going to. Do you know the exact dates for the games?
