    Hi Arlen,
We are preparing for our next demo in two weeks. I've found that in dances every couple doesn't dance (usually a medley) that if I just study the directions for what I am doing, it really helps. Such as "measure 1-8 Stand; 9-16 diagonal reel, 17-18 stand, 19-20 set and so on. See you soon. Let us know how the demo goes.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

For me, the only important thing in demo-ing, is for people to see that you are enjoying yourself. There isnothing more boring than the foot-perfect dour-faced RSCDS team proving they are the best.

On the other hand, have a laugh while you are performing, and people will think "I'd like to do that."

I just thought I would let everyone know that I never managed to get any pictures or videos of the demo.
It went well but for one fact: The stage was dreadful (Lots of mini-stages pushed together unevenly.)
It bounced and wobbled as we were dancing and caused my leg to kick up as I was setting. Which made me tear the ligament at the back of my knee. (Funnily enough it hurts my calf more than my knee.)
So I screwed up the dance even though I kept going the best I could.
I made it through both dances and hope to be back to walking through dances at class by next week.

Anyway... to make it up to you here are some videos from the demo our team did at the V.A. Christmas party a while back. Note the extra special music?
