    It's finally happened

After more than two years, my UK workmans, my first kilt that I can wear every day, has started to come apart at the seams. The two pleats at the ends of the leather tape measure strap (the left side leather) have come usewn from the bottom of the sewn down portion to the strap. That it a high-stress area, it's where the kilt bends when I sit, but it's still kind of sad.

But easily fixed, luckily. I'll throw it on the machine with some light brown thread and viola!

being the workhorse of kilts...I'd say a wee bit 'o fraying after two years is fantastic!....Most jeans (*shudder*) I've worn have started fraying well before the two year mark!

Another win for kilts over the trouser!

Just consider joyous mileage on the road of happy Kilt wearing Nick. They do hold up well, and are easily able to get back to proper running speed quickly.
