I am currently kilting up to take my lovely wife of nearly16 years out to dinner. Yes, I know I am blessed and I thank God everyday. I am sure if you asked her, she would tell you that she already has the place picked out to hide my body...

Guys, let's try and remember that unfortunately there are guys out there that need the reminder and the "holiday" to show their spouses how much they care. I know, it's sad, but these people do exist. If they didn't there would be no need for the holiday.

Not exactly related, but my in-laws both forgot their anniversary one year, and remembered it on the wrong days. He sent her flowers on the wrong day, and she got him some kind of present on the wrong day. They were even in the wrong months!
My delightful young spouse and I went to an Indian restaurant tonight and waited and waited and then waited some more for a table, then started the waiting all over again for a menu, then waited some more for a waiter to take our orders, then waited some more for the food to come (which was REALLY GOOD, by the way). Why do they call the people who work there waiters? Shouldn't they refer to the patrons as waiters, and the staff as waitees?

Phogfan86, I have a bone-shaped cookie cutter. Let me know the next time you need some catering done for one of your doghouse (or doughouse or doughhouse) soire'es.

In fact, I've been in there often enough and long enough lately that there's talk of adding a wing with my name on it.
Just take one room in the house and furnish it with : computer, big screen tv, recliner, pool table, fridge and microwave. Put a sign over the door that reads DOGHOUSE
