Seriously--three days ago. And yes, I do enjoy the odd disco song (Maybe that's because I was born in 1980?)
I also was born in 80, and I get almost disturbed during the '80s' hour of music during lunch on a few of the local stations as to just what the songs were signing about. I remember watching Bill & Ted and not really understanding the number thing, then a few years later seeing it and going "Oh, that makes sense.."

I was born in 55 and I'm still trying to figure out if there was hidden meaning in "Leave it to Beaver".

Don't forget, "Puff The Magic Dragon" is all about smoking pot.

No Man! It was about The North Shore of Kauaʻi. Puff lives there I've seen him. And Jackie Paper is long gone.

Did you like the song, "Puff the magic dragon?" There was no dragon unless it appeared from the marijuana. I have only heard this to be true.

Burning the Reichstag

A light bulb just now went on: this scene was clearly based -- or perhaps outright stolen -- from the baptism scene in The Godfather.
I also didn't know until a year or so ago that The Who's "Magic Bus" is about a drug dealer.
I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
While watching the Phantom Menace, I compared the Attack on Naboo to the Burning of the Reichstag (ie staging an incident to start a power grab). My wife replied with "what are you talking about?"

I saw the very bad movie "Con Air" in 1996 and about a year later I got the pun.
That's pitiful.
Speaking of 1980...
I had already drowned and been brought back to life by 1980. You ain't lived 'til you've done that.
