That's a smart looking knife! I'd say go for it.

It's a good knife for the price. I'd suggest that anyone buying it invest in a thin, leather sheath as it will fit better against the leg.

I just ordered one direct from the distributor. It should be here in 4-8 days. I will post pics when it gets here.

It looks very nice. I would worry a bit about how chunky the wood scabbard is. It might make your hose stick out a bit much.

Definitely a good looking sgian! Personally I think the 6.5" length would make it too big/awkward to wear as a traditional sgian, ie in the kilt hose, and Rathdown probably has a good idea about replacing the sheath for a thin leather one for wearing in your hose...

Regardless it's a handsome blade and a good buy to boot!

It does look nice. I plan to get one for my step-son just as a good handy knife. He is not kilted yet. Says made in China and I am not surprised. The Colt name is licensed. I don't think they even exist as a firearms manufacturer any more. Interesting thing is that the blade and scabbard stay together by magnetism. I have seen them on several knivfe sites and even in the Smoky Mountain catalog. For those prices if it cuts at all and does not look awful cheap it is worth it.
