SPC Boyd and his family are turning up at 4:45 pm. Ceremony starts at 5. Anytime before 5 is fine except for the musicians. If the musicians could be there at 4:40 pm, that would be grand.

The musicians will be Bobby Bush the guitarist/singer and Lala (Bell?) a fiddler from the Celtic group Paddy Gone Wild. They will be at another function in Keller until about 4:45, although Bobby said they'd try to slip out early. But even so, 4:40 is highly doubtful.

I don't know how my weekend is shaping up yet, but if I do randomly materialize on the day, I'll try to remember to bring the pipes. (Just a heads up) Unfortunately I can't commit for sure at this point.

The House of Boyd is unable to attend, but they are shipping me a box of Boyd-related goodies to be presented to Zach at the ceremony. I hope it gets here in time.

The big day is almost here. Saturday, 11 July, 5pm, at the Fox & Hound in downtown Fort Worth, Specialist Boyd (the pink boxer soldier) will finally receive his kilt amid much fanfare and merriment.
Just to clarify McMath's post, our local Boyds, especially SPC Zach Boyd, will be in attendence.
Cheers, ColMac

The lady and I will be there. Depending on our morning, I may or may not be kilted.
Look forward to seeing everybody there.

We lost our fiddler last night. She lives about 75 miles away and decided it was just too far. We still have the Bobby Bush, an accomplished guitarist/singer and he's very enthusiastic about participating in this event and promises a good time!
