The secret is park close to the front door, don't stay out front to long taking pictures, and enjoy the fine, cool, Air conditioned. interior of a nice pub on a HOT afternoon!

Shows even a small gathering can be an enjoyable one.
More pubs should have that sign!

I've been to Fiddlers Green a few times, great decor and and great refreshments on tap for those so inclined (As well as great food!). We have a few good watering holes over in SW Florida as well, two of them being The Celtic Ray and The Icehouse Pub, both located in Punta Gorda.

If you get the chance to be in our neighborhood before you leave for California be sure to let us know and we can have a meet up to give you a send off.
It would be fun!

That Killian's sign is the best! I'm glad to see that you had a fine afternoon, and thanks for sharing it with us.

I may be up in Winter Haven in the next few weeks to see my mother before I leave (She needs a new back patio and so shall be capitalizing on my skills as a Concrete Mason) I'll keep you posted and maybe I can swing over to Winter Park for a minute, no promises, but it could happen.

I forgot to mention that my wife and I were there a couple of years ago and had a grand time. We traveled from our home in Virginia Beach. This was before I owned and kilt and now I have three. This is a good example of checking in advance of travel for any other X-Scotters that know of a Celtic pub and may be available to meet. It also reminds one to always bring the "Blessed Kilt" along.

Kenneth - where in Southern California? There are a few X Markers out here although I haven't managed to attend a get together.
