Had several positive experiences at Wal*Mart. Best one was when one of the staff came up to me to ask for help in disposing of two kilts and a jacket that were her late husband's. The were taken to a Scottish Heritage function and sold immediately, one to a member who did not have a kilt.

Most of the kilt sightings I make are in Walmart. I am warmily received when kitled there. Glad you had such an outstanding experience.

Asda Stores are "part of the Wal Mart family" over here and been kilted there many times with no problems and often positive reactions.

Well I did not buy it. If you spend over 50 cents, you get a shirt free.
Wow Walmart has it all don't they? You can get your shirts and the latest needed style magazine - Not only do you need the right accouterments with a kilt but the the right hair doo is an absolute must

I've yet to venture into WalMart kilted. I did make a run to Target in my kilt, though. Got a couple of double-takes, but no comments one way or the other. Glad to hear you got a positive reception.
