I went to Wal-Mart tonight in my Black Watch. Didn't get any kind of looks or comments. However, after the Wallyworld trip, the wife and I went to the mall so she could pick up a new belly ring. Not sure how may people here know about Hot Topic, but it was the store we went to in the mall. Got 3 different comments from 2 ladies and a dude....all positive. I wandered over to The Buckle to check out some jeans and got two more comments from the guy and gal working there. Cool night all in all....

There isn't enough money on the Planet to get me to shop at WalMart.

To get back to the original post, great story, I do shop at Wal Mart from time to time, here is a thread with photos of me on a trip to my local Wal Mart. I've never had a bad experience in Wal Mart. Most of the time there is little reaction if any, and what little reaction I get is positive.

For the record, that's been my experience too and I shop there frequently for groceries.

Had several positive experiences at Wal*Mart. Best one was when one of the staff came up to me to ask for help in disposing of two kilts and a jacket that were her late husband's. The were taken to a Scottish Heritage function and sold immediately, one to a member who did not have a kilt.

Most of the kilt sightings I make are in Walmart. I am warmily received when kitled there. Glad you had such an outstanding experience.

Well I did not buy it. If you spend over 50 cents, you get a shirt free.
Wow Walmart has it all don't they? You can get your shirts and the latest needed style magazine - Not only do you need the right accouterments with a kilt but the the right hair doo is an absolute must
