Folks, this is seriously not a problem. I can bring some Ziploc(tm) bags that will fit in a sporran. Then we'll pass them out ahead of time and delegate people to various items: cream scones, cucumber sandwiches, salmon tarts, petits fours, other little doodads and nibbles, even a couple of persons to scoop up targets of opportunity. A little organization is all that's required.
They'll never know they've been had.

For those that have not seen my Thorfinn sporran, it can hold a LOT! Anybody want a mounted tiger?

Mikey,
Though I won't be there for this most grand tea at the Empress, may I make one small request?
Will you use the proper entrance this time and not the roof?
Cheers

Bring yur check book, it's not cheap. Having said that is is very good tea. The curry chicken sandwiches are great. Not as good as the curry in the bengal lounge, but pretty good.
I am heading back Saturday, but am planning on buying a box of the tea for at home.
What time are you heading back Rex?

I think we'll have enough hands on deck to sneak off with a full table of goodies if someone can provide and adequate distraction.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Colin. I've been in the S OK drinking wine Not sure of the schedule, but late Sat morning/early afternoon is my tentative plan. How about you? And how are you getting there?
