How long to get to the top? Well assuming you are not wanting to hurry and you go up the path(it is very rough in parts)then you should allow about 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit. Be warned, like all mountains, the weather can change in an instant, so go prepared.Just so you know, some of the runners competing in the Ben Nevis race do to the summit AND BACK in just less than 2 hours!

Jock
you make me travel sick. I was in your fair country 2x in the last few years. I can still close my eyes and see pictures of the like that you posted in my memories.

Jock, thank you so much for the splendid photos - new camera or not, you have not lost your touch! Also, I am delighted to realise that you are getting out and about again. Well done!
Take care,
Ham.

Jock,
That's some beautiful country you live in. I hope to be able to see it for myself, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I have a challenge for you: shoot the same shot in all four seasons. For instance, you might set up at the same place that you shot the river (in the first picture) and shoot it in all four seasons, just to compare the changes.
Thanks for posting these.

Thanks for sharing those photos. I've always wanted to see what Ben Nevis looked like.
