I'm tentatively planning to be in Atlanta on the 16th. Maybe I can make the dinner.

Hey guys, things are really looking up. So far, I already have about 20 or so, and we haven't even gotten all the regulars contacted yet.
Greg, who owns the Celtic Tavern now, is really looking forward to seeing us and assured me that he will make whatever accomodations we require for a successful evening.
We'll gather early--say 5:30 or so (earlier for the hardcore since they open at noon)-- and dinner is at 6:30. Let me know if you are going to attend because it is beginning to look like there is limited seating.

A little judicious exagerating in that area might help get her to the event. Anyway, I have you down for two. Tell here to let us know if she can't make it so I can get you a date.
That ought to free up some time!

Bump me to 3, as my Brother seems to be inviting himself.

I spoke to Greg yesterday, and we're on track for a good evening. I think we figured out how to expand the seating for dinner without too much disruption to the overall evening.
I still haven't heard from a couple of our regulars, but the count is about 28 or so now. We still need some volunteers, so don't make me call you up. You don't want me to come in there. (It always worked when my mother said that--still does!)
1. Selkirk Grace
2. Some poems (pick your favorite)
3. Toast to the Lassies
4. Anything special you'd care to share or perform
Note that 1 & 3 are critical.
Let me hear from you.

Jim
In the past we've had the entire company do the Selkirk Grace, all we did was print out a bunch for everyone to read from. If we were coming down I'd do it alas we will not be in your neck of the woods until after Burns Night. All the best of luck with it.

I noticed that they're having a Burns kilted round of golf in Jacksonville.
I wonder if any of the laddies--and lassies--who are plannin' to attend the Conyers Burns Supper would want to do a kilted round that day or the Friday preceding. I would be up for it if there is any interest. I imagine we could get up a couple of foursomes. It's supposed to be raining and about 50 degress F.
Let me know if you're interested.

Jim,
Count us in for the fine evening among the kilted. Schedule cleared and in town for that weekend. Looking forward to meeting more of the clans.
Fair winds,

This is partly bump and partly info.
Since I am writing this on Tuesday evening before the Burns Supper, it's getting close, and I need a final headcount.
If you've already confirmed--or firmly declined--no need to do anything. I guess I really just want anyone who has changed his mind to let me know. I've added McFarcus and Turpin's son to the list.
Still no word from Splash-4, so I guess Mike is out of town (or country as the case may be). I think this is going to be a great supper, and even if it does rain, we'll be inside anyway.
Slainte.
