What a beautiful kilt, and lovely tartan. For a yellow predominant tartan this one's colorset is fabulous, and perfect for the season with all the fall colors. Very vivid colors, too, considering the Rare and Selects usually are more muted or reserved.
Magnifique.

Robert, I am beyond envious - I hate to say it but I'm bordering on coveting that.
The workmanship is wonderful, the colors fabulous and I must know if I can get a kiltpin like that.
Congratulations! That should protect you well from the Alpine shows.

Thank you for your sweet words folks.
Just a word about the swing : The Kingussie has a movement of it's own : it doesn't exactly move like a Knife or a Double box.
The pleats are deep and there's 8 yards of fabric, but it has "back and forth" movement, more than a sideways one. Very masculine.
Best,
Robert

Robert,
I am always excited to see a new thread started by you, knowing that it will contain wonderful photos and a thorough description of whatever subject you're tackling, all conveyed in your kind and unassuming style. Thanks again for helping to make XMarks such a neat place.
The kilt is beautiful and what a treat to see it "in the works." Please add my congratulations and well-wishes to the pile.
Cordially,
David
