I would pick 1 or 2 personaly, im sure others have different opinions though.
Do we win a kilt if we pick the right one?
The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
He kens na where the wind comes frae,
But he kens fine where its goin'.

Lady Chrystel is planning to make a few Kingussie Kilts and she would like to know what tartan you would choose amongst the following:
# 4 Edinburg International Conference Center EICC
# 6 Caledonian New Old Colours
# 2 Limerick County
I'd say #4 and #6 are tied for me for favorites but i do like the Limerick County - but I think that's mainly because it's similar to Armagh County and that's on my Wish List.
If Lady Chrystel needs a model - just let me know!
Cheers,
Noah

How timely, as just last week I put in an order for a Kingussie in 16oz MM Jura Caledonia Ancient with Keltoi, our own Slohairt at the sewing table. I am expecting it sometime after the new year. We chose the blue stripe to pleat to. So obviously you know where my vote would go in your impromptu survey.
Cheers.

Culloden seems interesting. I like the Limerick too.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

I like the Culloden but then I have a weakness for tartans with lots of yellow in them.

I put in my vote for Limerick County. That's a sharp tartan. It's now on my wish list for a future kilt.
Regardless of what tartan is picked. I'm gonna want to see pictures!

Limerick. My family is Fitzgibbon from Limerick on my father's side. Great grandfather left Ireland in the famine around 1855. I have always admired the tartan. I would love to see a kilt made in it.

Hi Robert
Well, if she's making one as a surprise for me I am partial to the Irish county tartans. Yes I know how new they really are but Limerick County would still be on the top of my heap. Number two would be a tie between Culloden Muted - I've always wanted to see a kilt in that tartan and Caledonian New Old Colours. I have a kilt from House of Edgar in that tartan and the colors really are wonderful.
No matter the choice, I'm sure the kilt(s) will be stunning. We've come to expect nothing less from Lady Chrystal!
Cheers!
