...what about a Santa Clause hat? Is that OK to wear with my kilt?

Congrats on the future kilt. My wife has done the same for me- gotten me a kilt I don't know about. I can't wait to find out about it! I too have been looking at clothing in a whole new light- a garment as fine as a kilt deserves a higher standard than jeans- at least in my opinion.

A flatcap in Dickson is a very useful--and stylish--item to own.

Congratulations on your newfound sense of sartorial splendor.

Thanks for all the well wishes, guys! I just remember what it was like when I was around 12 and I realised that things looked better when I actually made an attempt to MATCH them! It was like someone opened a door for me and suddenly, I wasn't quite so 'lost' looking, fashion-wise! The (soon to be) addition of a kilt has opened up a whole different door!

And, Jock Scot, I promise that not ALL of the pictures I post will include a flatcap! ;)

Ah! You seem familiar with the area. (though a short trip to the local Walmart would tell you that anything without a Marlboro or Budweiser logo on it would be stylish! lol) Have you had dealings here?
