OK...I don't think I'm taking this thread off topic...since it's called Photos of Interest...and I am interested in this pic....
What is the collection of insignia and rosettes that Mr. Walker is wearing here? I see what appears to be two round rosettes without ribbon tails (unique compared to what I usually see) with something that looks similar to a BW crest between them, but in gold, not pewter color. Is this some sort of "official" marking...maybe a regimental association thing? Or is it just his personal representation of his service?

I have long wondered: is there a significnance to the bows as worn on the uniform kilt?
