Hmmm, I think that the Scottish Factory in NS is now closed. That was the store on Akerly in Dartmouth. Not sure if they moved or not but the store is up for lease.

Just some final thoughts. When ordering from any store and you need the item by a specific date or event, Contact them to see if they have it in stock or if they can get it for the time you need it. Speaking for ourselves and I am sure others like USA Kilts, Freedom kilts, etc.. they would be happy to let you know if they can get you the item before the date you need it and if not provide an alternative.
In regards to Highland games, this is an interesting discussion which isn't relative to the inital discussion but wanted to say I agree with Rocky for the most part. At games you will find Authentic Scottish Goods and then ones from Pakistan, China, etc... Unfortunately the general public doesn't always know the difference between the two and will judge you based on the prices of the goods. The only thing you can do to avoid this is educate the customers.
Someone mentioned about drop shipping and inventory levels. This is something Burnett's & Struth currently doesn't do online but hopes to do in the near future. For the most part as mentioned by another member we do keep all of the most popular items in stock, (Ties, scarves, kilt hose, belts, etc...) and others we can get it in a reasonable 2-4 week period (supplier depending). As mentioned above for stock just email or call we will be happy to let you know if we have any in stock and if not an estimated arrival date.
Lastly, I am happy to hear you received the product you ordered and for future orders consider some of the advertisers on the forum here they are great companies and offer superior customer service.
