Wondering if there are any other "Yoopers" here?
Hey gang!
Just wanted to say my first hello to everyone and introduce myself. I'm a 29 year old graduate student at Indiana University studying Central Asian history, but I hail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. That's right - I'm a "Yooper". Anyway, the initial reason I joined this community is because I have a question about the Irish brath. Does anyone know if the brath as worn by Irish Defence Force pipers is essentially of the same construction as a fly plaid, just folded rectangularly? Is the fringing on all four sides or just two, what are the dimensions, etc. - and where might I obtain one?
Thanks!
Joseph
