A warm Scottish welcome from middle England. Hope to meet up sometime. I'm not too far away in Derbyshire.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Adrian,
A warm welcome to you from the UK's sunny (?!!) south coast - near Worthing.
Take care,
Ham.

Adrian: Welcome to the blog from northern New Mexico, USA!
I have a bit of an off-the-wall question for you, if you don't mind. I am a huge fan of the Bronte sisters' writings. Living in Scarborough, are you familiar with the location of the grave of Anne Bronte? If so, do you know if it is a popular tourist site or is it little known and seldom visited? It would be a bit of a shrine for me, I'm afraid, because I love her two novels. Thanks.

Welcome from an ex-pat, born in York but now living down in Dorset.
We often visited Scarborough, and all the other resorts along the coast.
From what I remember the grave is in a church rather up above the town, it is a very nice spot, but cars are allowed to park in the graveyard, down the slope from the graves.
As there is very little parking available in the area it is very useful but some people find it rather difficult to accept the idea.

Scarborough
Hi and welcome from Stockton on Tees (60 miles away). I wear my kilt full-time now that I am retired. Contact me if you ever get to Cleveland or, say, York and we can meet up.

Welcome from someone who grew up in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada - not as lovely as the one in your part of the world - as a matter of fact, the nickname for the one in Canada is "Scarberia"!!!
My wife and I were in YOUR Scarborough while travelling with friends from Doncaster.

Anne: Thank you for the information. Maybe I'll make a pilgrimage to Ms. Bronte's grave site someday. I'll have no problem trudging up slope, ... as long as I don't wait too long.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
