One important thing I leared was not be afraid of making a mistake. Each kilt I have made (13 at last count I believe) has a flaw that I know about. I think this is what makes each one special. The one kilt I made that I consider "perfect" is the one I wear the least!
Learn from each. And odd as it is it seems each kilt demanded a small blood sacrafic. Call it a superstition I have but if I don't sheard some blood on making each kilt it doesn't seem 'alive'. Kind of strange I know but this is one of those things.
