    If it's fairly casual, how 'bout tweed AND sweater? Here's an example from last month with a tweed argyle and lambswool V-neck sweater-vest:

    Jumpers with a tie do work rather well for more casual events, yet without being too casual. See below (don't ask me what I'm doing with my hand!).
