Dave, play it loud and proud! I have a 560 watt surround sound system and I use my dvd player, Onkyo five disk changer, as my cd player. Saving Private Ryan with the DTS audio track will blow you away with the sound quality.

Rob someday I am going to pick up a home theatre system and really rock but for now the 400 fits the bill. I wonder what my neibors think .
I've had a couple stop when the see me playing the pipes and they all have said they love the pipes so life is good especially when I can share .

I live out in the sticks, surrounded on two sides by forest service land, only have two full time neighbors close by and I would have to turn the system up to its maximum for them to hear what I'm listening to.
I decided that while I was young that I would get the exspensive toys that I wanted first and since other than original comic book art and books, movies are a passion for me, I bit the bullet and purchased a good surround sound system. Onkyo dvd player, technics surround reciever, and Polk iseries speakers. I don't have a widescreen tv since I just do not have room for the size I want, a 30 incher.
