    Welcome, , and a big nod of agreement with TattooBradley. When I lived in Farmington, I would have had no problem going kilted, had I one at the time, and the small towns of NM are much more conservative than ABQ. Alternatively, if challenged, tell them you are from Santa Fe...they will shake their heads sadly and move on...

    I have to agree with Tattoobradley, he knows. I lived in Santa Fe ("The City Different")for 6 months. If a guy can go to a restaurant in a ladies flowered sundress (was not me), then I have no problems wearing my kilt in public, casually, anywhere in New Mexico. New Mexico is full of many unique and different people. It's a whole different world and has to be experienced. That's why I'm so drawn to it.
