Newbie from New Mexico (USA that is!)
Hello all. I discovered this site through a series of meanderings via www.myspace.com. Well, here I am. I recently purchased a kilt (after years of longing for the family tartan!) I'm Scotch/ Irish mostly (with a touch of this and that I'm sure. And the tartan in my avi and the kilt in my profile picture are both the Henderson Ancient. I purchased my kilt with intent to wear for my wedding in July. But now, I want to wear it all the time! I've been informed by the soon-to-be Mrs. that I'm not to wear it until the wedding. After that I can do what I wish with it. HA! Well, just thought I'd introduce myself.

Go for it Tattoobradley!
Of course you have been wearing the kilt all along anyway, right? So I might guess that the wedding or the bride is on hold?
Not really. Congrats friend, hope you make happiness an every day joyous voyage!
I'm new to XMARKX too!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Welcome!
Of course, you could argue that you need LOTS of practice wearing the kilt so you'll be really confident wearing it at your wedding . . .

Welcome from the hills of Carolina! Maybe your bride-to-be just wants your kilt to be a surprise to some family members

Welcome, from a kilted neighbor in Arizona (which was once part of the New Mexico territory). Of course, with the tsunami of illegals, we're rapidly becoming the "new" Mexico...
Anyway, I know the temptation is great to "do it" now, but you'll be glad you saved it for your marriage!
I'm talking about the kilt, of course!
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

Sounds like fun. Another guy (Nick) on this board has a wedding in July too. It will be nice to see pictures of yours too. Oh, and welcome to this board.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

Welcome from a neighbor to your north. May your wedding be all that your bride hopes it will be and a great start to the rest of your life with her. And dazzle her with the kilt
