You know I'm actually hoping that the vast majority have 16 kilts or more! Well then I just have to compete.

Hamish,
I hope you will share with us what you have learned during these months. I hope to get one soon and would like to be able to profit from your experieinces. Who do you recommend as the best jacket maker over all? Who is the best bargain? Who should one avoid?
Thanks

I owned 4 but I ordered on Thursday last week a Stillwater Saffron, that took 3 days to get to my door.(recieved it on monday) Heavy Weight, and another kilt from ebay. So that makes 6. That does not include my Utilkilt that i gave to my nephew, or the cheap one that i use as a dust rag. I also have 2 that i no longer fit in....So I am now down to 4......

Well, I gave one away to a friend as it was too big, but have 5, 1UKOriginal , 2 SWK Economy Irish National and a Black Stewart, My first Shadow plaid from Scotland and my new Irish American Tartan. All 5 yd. as I live in Florida and would evaporate under an 8 yard kilt.

Number of Kilts
Well I have 6 Kilts and I am headed to Edinburgh March 24th to pick up my 7th, but I need this many since it is the only garment I wear, at least for the last three years...

Oh its that time of year is it? Well, I haven't taken stock of my closets in a while, lets just look....I make it 12 winter kilts (8 wool tanks and 4 acrylic Stillwaters) in the bedroom and 12 summer kilts (PV, cotton, denim, leather and light wool) in the off-season closet down the hall.
24 kilts present and accounted for, sir.
And none on order, but oh, I so want a couple of USAK casuals (Menzies and Prince of Wales) and an RKilt in natural hemp, plus......well, you know

Let's average out the respondents so that it looks like I have more kilts. Also gives me a target.

I have 10 at the moment. I had 11, but I sold one to a fellow Xmarker. But, I'm still fighting the drawing power of USAK and that Loud McLeod. Gotta go look at that swatch... grrr... must.... aw who cares. At least I'm not doing crack or anything.

9 here, just don't ask how many pairs of socks I own!
I wonder though, how many kilts some of our favorite vendors like USAK or SWK sell every year?
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.
