Thanks again for all the comments.
It's been wonderful so far and things just seem to keep getting better. We got two days of stormy rain just to remind me of Scotland and now it's back to a nice sunshine.
And it looks like the weather will be good for the Highland games on Saturday, too!!

Orphan kittens....sure takes me back. That was one of my hobbies in veterinary school. We still have one (although she's 12 years old now).

Ask Jamie about orphan kittens sometime-he had mixed feelings about them!

They are very sweet and I am planning to keep one of them. (Then we'll have 3 cats and 2 chickens.)
I am up to my knees in it, though. 6 kittens make a LOT of mess and a lot of noise. They are now on solid food and using the litter tray so we are going to start adopting them out.
I won't miss them too terribly.
