WOW! Sir, you seem to have indeed "cracked the code" and you display impeccable taste, not only in your choice of vendors but in your ability to accessorize. In comparison with you, I spent several months looking like a buffoon!

Looks like you are ready for anything but a formal ball Jeff. That IOS is one fine tartan.

Looks like you are doing a very fine job with your first kilt. I really like the gray vest, it looks really sharp. Be sure to give your wife a big hug and a thank you for all of this!

Speaking of vests....I like the one you made Jeff, Looks sharp...
I was re-reading 'So Your Going To Wear The Kilt' again, for the 1000th time, and I noticed something...
I picked up on of the green/grey tweed vests at Target (it was on closeout! ) Although it fits around me, it's too long for the kilt...BUT...the book said to simply wear it under the kilt! Huh. Why didn't I think of that?
Yours looks fine Jeff, but mine covers the top of the sporran, even if I wear it low. Although I'm not sure how this would all look without a jacket...

Very sharp turnout cousin. You sure have a feel for color coordination.
Don't forget that purple Lewis kilt hose go well with the Lochcarron Isle of Skye too. Put them on your wish list.
And, thanks for the two links. Were new to me.
Western boots in New Hamshire....?....okay fine....

Congrats on all the new gear Jeff.
There is something very Hamish like in your pictures . A nice well thought out look. I don't think, and this is only my opinion, that Cowboy boots go with a kilt... Please don't send hate mail

Thanks again...
for the kind words, all.
Jamie, I can get on board with everything except the gin. Scotch, on the other hand... I know, I know, not quite cricket.
Father's Day is coming, Ron. ;-)
And, David, you needn't worry. I will never wear a kilt with western wear out in the real world. I'd feel way too much like Annie Oakley. The picture was just an expression of my warped humor.
