Finally!
Finally my kilt got here, I was putting up fence when the postal lady came and I ran down my 900 ft driveway, and back, and began to unpack my kilt. I got everything out, and I have to say, it's a good thing they send instructions because I was LOST. I got the kilt on, and promptly drove into town to a friend's store, he has actually worn a kilt on a regular basis, and after a thorough and brutal critique, he got me kilt in order. I've never been happier and I'll be wearing it to work every day from now on.
Unless they fire me.
It's good to wear, I worked a bit in it, sat a bit in it, and drank a bit of beer in it. I am looking forward to my next. I think for my first week of PTO I'm going to Scotland and having a nice kilt tailored, maybe two. Even though dad's side of the family is Danish, the Marten's name is a sept of clan Cameron, and they also have a Danish national tartan, which I just might get too!

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I live in Live Oak, about an hour from Jacksonville and Tallahassee equally. I'm about two hours north of Tampa, I think, I never drive, I always ride. But if you have a kilt night, I'd try to go!
And it's a Black Watch tartan, made by Stillwater Kilts, and it's one of the "Heavyweight" ones. The waist size doesn't need to be discussed
I'm not skinny, I'm undernourished.
And to the Cameron our there, I hope your clan won't mind a Danish addition, apparently some of my ancestors thought your lands were good ones for they settled there and became integrated.
P.S. I'll get some pictures soon, I'm sure plenty of my coworkers will want pictures tomorrow.
