And I'll admit to being partial to an Maroon Balmoral!

I'm not crazy about multi-colored caubeens, so my choice is the solid green.

Since posting this thread and having received three caubeens, I find myself more comfortable to the two green ones I have.. one is a Canadian military caubeen with the green ribbon tails, and the other is one I had made in Ireland.. I wear one green caubeen with my Clan Marine Corps Badge, and the other green one with the Angel Harp I found made of sterling silver, at the local Highland Games.

The black and red caubeen JByous made for me is nice, and I would recommend him to anyone. He makes a good product.. be it caubeens or tams.. hand made, and made to order.. you cannot go wrong there..

I picked up a rifle green balmoral from Highland Dovex for very cheap. I took off the green toorie and tied up the ribbons and pinned an antique brass Maid of Erin pin from Tara Hall at www.fighting69th.com on the black grosgrain rosette. Sometimes I'll use my Gaelic Themes chromed pewter "Ireland" clan badge intead.
