Yah, well my husband (born in 80) gets after me (born in 85) because I either haven't seen or haven't even heard of such apparent classics as "Bed Nobs and Broomsticks", "Puff the Magic Dragon" and the like

I couldn't help but notice "old foggies" ... the original term for old cusses and near-old cusses like me is "fogey" (pl. fogies) ...
but actually "foggy" (pl. foggies) is probably more appropriate... especially when describing the early rising, pre-coffee version of the species.

Feeling old?
I remember things that happened the year my wife was born. And she never lets me forget that I'm getting old. The calendar says I'm middle aged, my mind says I'm still bulletproof. The body says "Shut up and drink your Metamucil".
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

All the time - aallllll the time.
Though if you go through life looking for connections, hommages, similarities and just plain copies - your coffee is going to go cold.
