The 'Burg has lots of great eateries.
Wish I would have know you were going to Charlottesville.
Is the White Spot still on the Corner. How I remember those Gus burgers!

The White Spot is still there and still a regular dining location when I head down to C'ville for football games. Love the Double Gus.

Wouldn't dream of wearing a jacket in that place. Then again, that's my only caverns/caving experience so I guess I don't know a whole lot about other such places....

It was about 60-65 in there. I wasn't really wearing my hoodie because it was cold, but more so because I was going with my mother, and as some of you guys may have remembered with your mothers, coats and jackets are something that you wear when they are cold. I would have been just fine without it in a t shirt, but alas, no can do with the Mum in tow. You would think I was 8, not 25.
To answer the eating questions, I went to Five Guys because my Mum said they have a better burger than In n Out (So-Cal raised) and to me, them's was fightin' words. I don't know if it was better, but it was a good burger. On Monday I went to the Fredricksburg Pub, which was...interesting if you have never been there. Great beer selection and look, if that is your thing. All the guys who work there wear kilts and all the gals wear tartan mini skirts...very mini on some. I was not at all disappointed. A lot of the guys wore a Black Watch, but most others who wore a specific tartan didn't know the name of it. One older gentleman had on a Royal Stewart and knew it, which was refreshing. There was also one kid (18 years old), who was in a Gordon, and wearing it around his hip. He came up to me, very interested because I was in a kilt. I gave him a little run through on how to wear one and told him what the tartan was (he didn't know) and he was very greatful. The workers there loved me. I may go back there again.
Next today is a day in DC. Thanks for all the fun and comments guys.
