The dress is new and mass produced, nothing custom or handmade. It's designed for a Quinceañera ...
Wow, have times changed! When my sister had her Quince [shortly after Earth cooled] my mom made her a beautiful dress, but NOTHING like this fabulous gown! I can't believe many 15-year-olds these days could appreciate something like that.

    Best wishes to you both!

The kilts are quite handsome - but you look gloriously radiant my dear Lady M!

Very nice pics. I showed them to my wife and she was quite amazed. She said the look of your dress was outstanding and that your husband and father were but well put together accessories. She is keeping the look of a colored dress in mind for when our son gets around to finding a wife. Hope you have many fine years together.

You see, this is the thing...

We men put on kilts. We shine our shoes. We make sure our sporran is just *so*. We fight on X Marks about what color hose we can wear. We read up on how to tie gillie brogues.

We fret over the shape of the buttons on our jacket. We stew about what sort of hat to wear. We concern ourselves over the sett size of the tartan in our kilt, We agonize over whether this kilt should be pleated to sett or stripe, knife pleat, military box pleat and so on.

And then we go stand next to a woman like you.

.......And nobody knows or cares what the heck WE look like. ...

Seriously, ghostlight looks absolutely great, your Dad is one handsome rogue and the both of them look absolutely fantastic in their kilts.... but my Lady M...

    Oh. My.

Alan, you're exactly right. If we didn't have pictures to prove it, no one would remember that the men wore kilts at my wedding. A lovely lady outshines a kilted gent every time!
