Fantastic pics--thanks so much for sharing your wonderful outing! Cheers!
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

That was about all for the Botanical Gardens, after this we thought we should grab some food so it was off to the Hard Rock Cafe.

Outside on the Hard Rock Cafe patio they had a musician playing.
We went upstairs to the restaurant for a nice meal, if you are not familiar with the Hard Rock Cafe chain of restaurants, they have all sorts of memorabilia on the walls from various time in the history of Rock and Roll, the Niagara Hard Rock is no exception. Here are a few photos of what we found inside.
More from inside the Hard Rock next.

Behind the bar
Once we left the Hard Rock who should we run into but the King himself, sitting having an iced coffee at Starbucks, this was an opportunity not to be missed, I had to get a photo.
More to come of a really busy day, next it was off to the falls.

As I was standing there telling the king about the DEKS in Memphis, by the way guys you'll have to change your name now that there is proof he's alive and well and living in Ontario, a young girl who was going to her high school prom asked me if she could get her picture taken with me. It ended up that there were two of them though we did not a picture of both of them with my camera.
It was at this point that an old man in a wheelchair ran into Catherine almost knocking her to the ground, we had a few words after catching up to him. I was ready to pack it in and go home lets face it this had been a full day. Catherine however would not hear of it and so we made our way down to the falls, those photos next.
