It's only my opinion of course but all these setts, and others of a similar age, look so much better in Wilsons' colours.
Got some Black Watch in c1810 colours and sett, complete with a black selvedge mark, when your wish comes true.
Do you have a photo of the Macdonell of Keppoch in Wilson's colours?
I've never seen it & would love to see how it compares.
